From the South (Washington, New Bern, Wilmington)
From Hwy. 17 Business North turn right onto Main St; pass the Post Office and take the first right after the courthouse (S. Harrell St.). Travel 1 block and turn right onto Ray St. You'll see the Roanoke Inn nestled behind the white picket fence just ahead and to your left.
From the North (Windsor, Ahoskie, and Edenton, Virginia)
From Hwy. 17/13, take a right onto Hwy 17 Business, just after the bridge over the Roanoke River. Turn left onto S. Harrell St. beside the courthouse; then, the first right, Ray St. You'll see the white picket fence of the Roanoke Inn.
From the East (Jamesville, Plymouth, Outer Banks)
Continue on Hwy 64 and do not exit at Williamston. Go under the overpass; through the intersection (Bojangles & Burger King are on your right) and on to Main St. Turn right on Main Street, pass the Post Office and take the first right after the courthouse onto S. Harrell St. Travel 1 block and turn right onto Ray St. You'll see the Roanoke Inn's sign welcoming you just ahead and to the left.
From the Northwest (Hamilton, Scotland Neck, Halifax, and Roanoke Rapids)
From Hwy 125, turn left onto Main St. (beside Schewel’s Furniture) and continue on past the Post Office. Take the first right after the courthouse onto S. Harrell St. Travel 1 block and turn right onto Ray St. You'll see the Roanoke Inn just ahead behind the white picket fence.
From the West (Rocky Mount, Raleigh)
From Hwy 64, continue on past Exit 515 to the stoplight under the overpass. Take a left and go through the intersection (Bojangles and Burger King) and continue on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to the next light at Washington St. Take a right and continue to Main St. Take another right and continue. Pass the Post Office and take the first right after the courthouse (S. Harrell St.). Travel 1 block and turn right onto Ray St. You'll see the Inn's white picket fence just ahead. |
